Terry Moore

Terry Leon Moore, age 73, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born April 15, 1946 in Cassville, Missouri the son of C.W. “Chock” and Bertha (Cassity) Moore. On June 21, 1964 he was united in marriage to Linda Clemons, who survives. Also surviving are one son, David Moore and his wife Sheri of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; one daughter, Lani Prewitt and her husband Scott of Purdy, Missouri; five grandchildren, Charley and Issy Moore and Zachory, Jera and Brody Prewitt; two great grandchildren, Miley Jo and Amelia; a brother-in-law, Tom Clemons and his wife Lynette of Defiance, Missouri; five nephews and three nieces.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Margaret Chandler.








Terry receive his education in Exeter, graduating from Exeter High School in 1964. He was a member of New Hope Southern Baptist Church. Throughout his life he had worked at Save-A-Stop, was a salesman for Merck Drugs and later Eskimo Packing in Exeter. For several years he sang with the Good News Gospel Quartet, which he loved. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting coon and deer and fishing.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Vineyard Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Nolan Lawrence and Lee Beck will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to New Hope Southern Baptist Church or Vineyard Cemetery in memory of Terry.
