James M. Ritter, 88, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest November 14, 2019 at his home in rural Seneca after an illness.
James M. Ritter was born March 18, 1931 in Seneca, MO the son of Floyd and Gertrude (Hierholzer) Ritter.
James owned and operated Ritter Farms south of Seneca over 63 years. He was a Christian. James loved his cattle, his farm and watching westerns on tv.
James Ritter married Wilda G. Caywood May 3, 1952 in Bentonville, AR and she preceded him in death May 8, 2019.
Survivors include two sons; Tony Ritter and wife Roxane, Seneca and Billy Ritter and wife Stephanie, Cedartown, GA; one daughter, Debbie Kunde and husband Al, Neosho; siblings, Virginia Warren, Carolyn Beavers, Betty VanDorn and Joan Bynorth all of Neosho; Larry Ritter, Granby and Tommy McDonald, Nixa, MO; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Martin Ritter and Brent Ritter; one grandson Evan Ritter; one granddaughter, Stephanie Cole; two brothers Maurice Ritter and Leonard Ritter; two sisters, Berniece Johnson and Anna Mae Ellis.
The family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm, Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Denny Sikes officiating.
