Marsha Skaggs

Mrs. Marsha Ellen Skaggs, 67, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri, after a recent battle with cancer.

Marsha entered this life on March 26, 1952, in Shidler, Oklahoma, one of two daughters born to the late Frank and Mary (Haney) Marshall. Her formative years were spent in Shidler and Beaver, Oklahoma. Marsha has been a resident of Noel, Missouri, since 1971.

 On September 20, 1974, she was united in marriage to Samuel Edward “Sam” Skaggs and to this union a son and daughter were born. She was a co-owner of F&S Discount in Noel, Missouri, which she ran until 1995. She currently worked alongside her husband in the operation of M&S Sales and Service. Outside of helping with the day to day operation of their business, Marsha was also a homemaker, a mother, a NaNa and a friend to many.








She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother in-law, Reuben Parker, Sr.

Marsha is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Sam Skaggs of the home; two children, Brian Skaggs and wife, Barbie, of Noel and Rhonda Wise and Gina Denison also of Noel; four grandchildren, Kasie Skaggs, Amber Skaggs, Kristopher Wise and Bradley Skaggs; five step-grandchildren, Chris Denison, William Denison and Madison, Ethan and Evan Abazid; two great grandchildren, Trysten and Alexander; a sister, Sandra Parker of Beaver, Oklahoma; her last surviving uncle, Hugh Haney of Anderson, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Marsha will be held on Friday morning, November 15, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Hank Gorman officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Creek Cemetery near Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.

 Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Ozzie Amos, Alan Sherry, William Denison, Connor Todd, Josh Judy, Travis Lukens, Bradley Skaggs and Larry Bishop with Bill Elliott serving as honorary.
