Sherlene Divine

Sherlene Joy Divine, age 85, of Columbus, KS, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 in Joplin.

Sherlene, daughter of the late Burl and Erma (Yenzer) Divine, was born on March 5, 1936 in Seneca, MO. She was a lifelong area resident and a former employee of KAAP of Parsons until her retirement after 30 years of employment.

 

Sherlene was a loving sister and aunt. Some of her happiest times were spent with family and all her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed manicuring her lawn and tending to her flowers.

Survivors include one brother, Frank Divine, of Joplin; three sisters, Shirley Sprouse, of Walla Walla, WA, Carol Bell, of Joplin, and Mary Coble, and her husband, Paul, of Columbus, KS; one sister-in-law, Sue Divine Brewer; 11 nieces; four nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Divine.

Burial of ashes at the Osborne Cemetery in Joplin will be held at a later date. Please check website for service details.
