(From Parker Mortuary)Tracy Edward Pryor, age 61 of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at his home.
Tracy, son of the late James and Beverly (Crump) Pryor, was born on June 24, 1959 in Nevada, MO. He grew up attending school and graduating from Nevada High School.
He specialized in roof construction and was employed as a roofer for most of his life. Tracy moved to Joplin fifteen years ago to be close to his children. He enjoyed Chiefs football and was an avid collector of sports memorabilia. Tracy loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his son, Travis Pryor, and his fiancé, Mark Sillman, of Joplin; his daughter, Lacy Pryor, and Corey, of Joplin; three brothers, Doug Pryor, of Joplin, James Pryor, of Nevada, Greg Pryor, and his wife, Cathy, of Nevada; one sister, Susie Prichett, and her husband, Randy, of Nevada; step-children, Christoopher, Kayla, and Libby; grandchildren, Elise, Rocky, Jabin, Lilyian, Kaleb and Stormy, Travis, Trace, Dredon, and Logan; two great-grandchildren, Keagen and Aleesa; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Pryor; and one sister, Karen Ray.
