(From Clark Funeral Home)Robert Joseph “Bob” Jones, age 74, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away at 12:37 a.m., on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at the Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri. He was born in Perry, Missouri, on September 24, 1946, the son of the late Ferman and Irene (Jones) Jones.
Bob graduated from Mark Twain High School and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. For 35 years Bob worked as an over the road truck driver. He resided in Omaha, Arkansas, and attended Emanuel Baptist Church in Omaha.
Bob started playing music at a young age and became an accomplished musician and guitarist.
Survivors include one son, Ferman P. Jones: and two grandchildren, Shelby and Synphany Jones, all of Branson, Missouri.
The Clark Funeral Home has conducted local arrangements in Neosho, Missouri. Service arrangements are currently pending.
