(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Christopher Howell, 53, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. Chris was born on November 15, 1967 to George Howell and Barbara “Jackson” Howell in Carthage, Missouri.
Chris loved riding and would ride his motorcycle everywhere he could. He was an entertainment truck driver who drove for Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Chris was joined in marriage by Debra Samuels Marez on November 14, 2020; she survives.
Along with his wife, Debra Howell, Chris is survived by two sons Tristen Howell and wife Audrey, and Bryce Howell; two step sons Alex Samuels and wife Kadi, and Geddy Samuels; his parents, George and Barbara Howell; one brother David Dreier and wife Irma; one sister, Brenda Beasley and husband Kevin, three grandchildren Payton, Brock, and Athena; and many friends.
Services for Chris are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday August 13, 2021.
