Wynona Lewis

Wynona Mae Lewis was born June 15, 1932 in Boulder City, Missouri, one of four children to William and Pearl (Tanner) Brust. She entered into rest on August 7, 2021 at her home in Granby, following a short illness at the age of 88. 

Wynona was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Sunbeam-Leisure Products for twenty three years prior to retirement. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and attending church. She was a member of the Granby Miracle Church and was an avid prayer warrior. 

Wynona and Denzil Lewis were married on Aug. 27, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri and he preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2012. 

Wynona is survived by three children, Dena (Jim) Nance of Granby, Danny (Dennese) Lewis of Granby and Dennis (Mary) Lewis of Cary, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Danielle McKay, Lindsey Lewis and Meghan Brantly; three step grandchildren, Michael Brust, Jennifer Lang and Andy Bradford; ten great grandchildren and one brother, Wayne Brust of Granby. 

 In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Krista Cherry; one brother, Doyle Brust and one sister, Dorothy Martin.
