(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Robert Wayne William Litz, age 79 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away Tuesday April 5, 2022 following a short illness.
He was born November 13, 1942, in Winnipeg, Canada to August Litz and Lynda Remple.
Robert graduated from Cal State University Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts and from Pacific Christian College with a Master’s Degree in Ministry. He served in the Vietnam Warr while in the United States Naval SeaBees. He was most recently serving as a minister at Christ’s Church of Perseverance. He never met a stranger and loved adventure, the water, and a good laugh.
Robert married Carolyn Goodman-Ammerman on April 20, 1988 in Anaheim, California. She preceded him in death on March 22, 2022. Also preceding him death are his parents.
He is survived by his children, Noah Litz and wife Heather, New Zealand; Kia Petrie and husband Chris, Ipswich, Massachusetts, Liannea McQuade and husband Ryan, Beverly, Massachusetts, Beate Daly and husband Ben, Kodiak, Alaska, Tod Ammerman and wife Allison, Williston, North Dakota, Amy Fagan and husband James, Cambridge City, Indiana; sister, Marilyn Peters and husband Gary, Yorba Linda, California; seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday April 12, 2022, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with James Fagan officiating. Burial will follow at Carl Junction Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers contribution are requested to Souls Harbor and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
