Robert Lee Johnson, age 75, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Robert was born March 15, 1941 in Rocky Comfort, Missouri, son of the late Cecil Johnson and Irene Lett Johnson. He worked most of his life as a contract plumber.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by sisters, Wilma Carol and Edna Mae.
Survivors include his brothers, Warren Johnson of Stella, Missouri, Wylie Miller of North Carolina, Scott Insley of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters, Patricia Ann Johnson, Ilah Fern Claypool of Wichita, Kansas, Bonnie Lett of Hutchinson, Cathryn Banta of Arlington, Texas, and Mary Ann Johnson of Neosho, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m. in Owsley Union Cemetery, Stella, with family serving as pallbearers.
