Vickey Jean Cullers, 65, Stella, died June 12, 2016 at Freeman West in Joplin.
She was born December 26, 1950 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Victor and Dolly (Wilson) Payne. Vickey was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a customer service representative for Scholastic since 1999. She was a loving wife and mother and loved taking care of her grandchildren, enjoyed working in her yard and was a wonderful cook.
Vickey married Robert Douglas ‘Doug’ Cullers on December 15, 1967 in Stella, Missouri, and he survives. Additional survivors include her mother, Dolly Payne of Anderson, MO; two children, Jeff Cullers and Sabra Cullers, both of Stella, MO; brother, Dick Payne and wife, Kim of Anderson, MO; mother-in-law, Phyllis Cullers of Stella, MO; two brothers-in-law, Danny Cullers and wife, Janice of Granby, MO and David Cullers of Stella, MO; sister-in-law, Becky Laney of Ft. Smith, AR; five grandchildren, Bryce Cullers and wife, Kayla, Kya Cullers, Macie Engleman, Tucker Engleman and Kamrey Engleman and two great grandchildren, Brantley and Brelynn Cullers. Vickey is preceded in death by her father, Victor Payne and father-in-law, Robert Cullers.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Granby, MO.
