Robert R. Staib, 75, Goodman, died June 16, 2016 in Joplin, following a lengthy illness.
Robert was born October 20, 1940 in Neosho, Missouri, the son of Raymond A. and Hattie (Hague) Staib. He was a lifelong area resident, graduated from Neosho High School and had worked as a dairy farmer. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool at the senior center and was an avid Cardinal fan. Robert was a member of the Splitlog Baptist Church.
He is survived by five children, Amey Burkett and husband, Robert of Jane; David Staib and wife, Janelle of Goodman; Sara Burr and husband, Tim of Goodman; Christina Staib of Bentonville, AR and John Staib and wife, Amanda of Pea Ridge, AR; one sister, Judy Fackler and husband, Robert of Neosho; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a great grandson, Cade and granddaughter, Rachael.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
