Linis C. Dell, 65, Granby, died June 22, 2016 at Freeman Neosho Hospital, following a sudden illness.
Linis was born Nov. 25, 1950 in Kincaid, Kansas, the son of Melvin and Georgia (Cole) Dell. He served in the U.S. Army and was a farmer. He enjoyed bailing hay, tractors and horses.
Linis married Eileen (Murray) Dell and she survives. Also surviving is his mother, Georgia Pendergraft of Granby; children, Linis Dell, Jr. of Carl Junction; Kenny Arehart and wife, Barbie of Carl Junction; Jon P. Arehart; Christie Fhember and husband, Jarod of Carl Junction; two brothers, James Dell and wife, Linda; Ted Dell and wife, Debbie; one sister, Donna Goodnight and husband, Junior; five grandsons, five granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Linis is preceded in death by his father, a brother, Fred Dell and step-father, Lawrence Pendergraft.
