Jennifer L. Hogan, 57, Carthage, MO went Home to be with the Lord, Monday evening, June 27, 2016 at her home after a short battle with cancer. Jennifer Lynn Wickman was born June 1, 1959 in Cincinnati, OH to Robert and Cleona (Atkins) Wickman, they survive. She was a graduate of Central Baptist Schools, Cincinnati, OH, Class of 1977. Jenny married Timothy Dean Brown on August ¬¬¬¬20, 1977 in Addyston, OH, he preceded her in death on November 10, 1998. Jenny married Gregory “Kent” Hogan on December 13, 2003, he survives. She worked as a teller at Hometown Bank, Carthage and also as a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
Additional survivors include three children; Bryan Brown, Cincinnati, OH, Laura (husband Sam) Davis, Carthage, David Brown, Carthage; three stepchildren; Jerrod (wife Melissa) Hogan, Joplin, MO, Tia (husband Steve) Wise, Edmond, OK, Rachel (husband Jon) Herring, Orlando, FL, four sisters; Karen (husband Gary) Rutherford, Cincinnati, OH, Terri (husband Rick) Iles, Cincinnati OH, Bonnie (husband Randy) Shinkle, Cincinnati, OH, Jill (husband Larry) Mobley, Guilford, IN, fifteen grandchildren; Sophia Brown, Nathan Davis, Zachary Davis, Annalise Davis, Elissa Davis, Shae Hogan, Miles Hogan, Ava Hogan, Tyler Wise, Katelyn Wise, Ethan Wise, Brooklyn Wise, Carson Herring, Hudson Herring, Harper Herring. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a faithful and wonderful Pastor’s wife.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church, 800 S. Baker Blvd, Carthage, MO 64836. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church. Pastor Joe Decker, Jr. of South Campbell Ave Baptist Church, Springfield, MO will officiate. An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Addyston Baptist Church, 112 Church Street, Addyston, OH 45001. Private family burial will be Wednesday July 6, 2016 at the Spring Grove-Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246. Memorial donations are suggested to the Bible Baptist Church Missions Fund in care of Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut Street, Carthage, MO 64836.
