Billy Ray Webb. Sr., age 73, of Diamond, Mo passed away June 18, 2016 at his home. He was born on January 6, 1943 in Joplin, Mo the son of Frank Ancil and Stella Violet “Tate” Webb. Billy was a veteran serving his country in the United States Air Force. He married Wilma Leona Robinson on July 6, 1970 in Miami, Ok. He worked as a mechanic for Joplin Special Road District, owned and operated B and L Hauling and later worked for Blevins Asphalt. He loved his family, fishing, hunting, and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Billy is also preceded in death by a son Justin Lee Webb in December of 1991. Survivors include his wife Wilma “Leona” of the home, a son Billy Ray Webb Jr. of Oologah, Ok, four brothers: Frank Webb of Diamond, Mo, Jess Webb of Billings, Mo, Larry Webb of Rocky Comfort, Mo and Vint Webb of Exeter, Mo; three sisters: Violet Farmer of Neosho, Mo, Patty Perry of Miami, Ok and Shelley McCarty of Fayetteville, Ar, three grandchildren: Cameron, Kylee and Gracie Webb, and also a great grandson Legend.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday June 21, 2016 at the Diamond Cemetery, Diamond, Mo with Pastor Hank Deslatte and Doug Wilkerson officiating. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer society in care of the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
