Caroline R. Morton age 71 of Oronogo passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital.
She was born on October 16, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to Christian Reign Luginbill and Loretta (Mitchell) Luginbill. Caroline was a travel agent, previously had worked as a car hop at the family owned Lugie’s Drive In, attended Alba Christian Church, and graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1962. She was the senior class president, a cheerleader; along with many other activities.
Caroline is survived by her son, Chris Morton and fiancé Jamie Cole of Ketchum, OK; daughter, Candice Humphrey and husband Kevin of Webb City; friend, David Morton of Webb City; sisters, Susie Little of Grand Lake Town, OK, Diane Luginbill of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Marisa Bolin, Skylan Bolin, Zebediah Humphrey, Blake Cole, Tanner Cole, Shianne Morton; great grandchildren, Skyla Dawn Cole, Wyatt Keith Earp Moorhead, and Saige Michelle Moorhead.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Alba Christian Church. The family will be present for a visitation on Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in Purcell.
