Michael Lee Happy, 55, Neosho, died June 5, 2016 at Freeman West in Joplin, following a sudden illness.
He was born September 30, 1960 in Miami, Oklahoma, the son of Gary Lee and Janice (Crockett) Happy. Michael had been a resident of the Neosho area for the last 10 years and worked for Premier Turbines as a meteorologist. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the lake and golfing.
Michael married Kimi Thomlinson on October 10, 2009 and she survives. Also surviving are his mother, Janice Gibbs of Miami, OK; father, Gary Lee Happy of Lee’s Summit, MO; maternal grandmother, Geneva Crockett of Miami, OK; two children, Brian Powell and Kallie Powell, both of Neosho; brother, John Happy of Miami, OK; sister, Kerry Gibbs of Miami, OK; two nephews, Darrel Ray Happy and Duncan Rowan and two nieces, Stevi Happy and Tori Happy.
