(From Brown-Winters Funeral Home)Andy Brewster, Jr of Miami, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Joplin.Missouri. He was 80 years old.
Andy was born December 13, 1940 in Vinita, Oklahoma. He had lived in the Miami area since 1986. He joined the Army in 1959 and was stationed in Germany. He was a welder and maintenance worker for most of his career. He retired from Midwest Custom Mixing in Commerce, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy Sr and Maxine Brewster, son, Michael Brewster and sister, Kay Johnson.
Andy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon Brewster, Miami, OK, brothers Jerry Brewster, Broken Arrow, OK and Larry and Jowona Brewster, Fairland, OK. Children include: Suzy and Wendell Crawford of Miami, OK., Lori and Mike Colvin, Afton, OK, David and Stacy Brewster, Granby, MO and Terry and Shanon Brewster, Riverton, KS. Andy had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that he loved dearly.
Andy enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, spending time with his family, camping, traveling, golfing and spending time with his wife watching Days of Our Lives, OU Football and Dallas Cowboys.
Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, October 8, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Riverton, KS. Arrangements have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Oklahoma.
