(From Ozark Funeral Home)Michael Eugene “Mike” Blecha, 72, of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born on February 12, 1949 in Southwest City, Missouri to the late, Carson Cody and Norma Jane (Smith) Blecha. Mike married the love of his life, Pamela Gayle Meador on August 23, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a loan officer working at the Cornerstone Bank in Southwest City, Missouri, Green Country Savings Bank in Grove, Oklahoma and currently at the Grand Savings Bank in Grove, Oklahoma. Mike was a member of the United Methodist Church in Southwest City, Missouri. He really enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Mike is survived by his wife, Pamela Meador Blecha of the home; his son, Kedron Blecha and wife, Lynette of Springfield, Missouri; a brother, Kevin Blecha and wife, Vicki of Anderson, Missouri; two grandchildren, Shelby Blecha and Brooke Blecha; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Mike.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Southwest City, Missouri. Chaplain Gary Bishop will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Those honoring Mike’s life by serving as pallbearers, Glen Adams, Dustin Able, Steve Odle, David Collingsworth, Chris Ramsey and Lee Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be, Lendell Bass, Roy Pollan, Wilford Englert, Ronnie Walker, Mike Thompson and Phil Thompson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Southwest City Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in loving memory of Mike may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
