(From Clark Funeral Home)Galen “Bruce” Jackson, age 64, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 4:17 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born August 16, 1957, in Stella, Missouri, and lived in Newton County his entire life.
Bruce worked for the City of Neosho Street Department for 23 years and Missouri Walnut until retirement. He was a big Elvis Presley fan and collected movie memorabilia, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, grandson and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his son, Aaron Jackson, and his wife, Carla; and grandson, Jonathon Jackson, all of Granby, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Lane and Pyper Jackson, and numerous cousins and friends.
His mother, Wanda Jackson, and granddaughter, Nicole Jackson, preceded him in death.
The Clark Funeral Home in Neosho has conducted arrangements. A memorial service for Bruce will be held at a later date.
