Helen Slinkard

Helen Slinkard, 97, of Jane, Missouri, was called to Heaven on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.

She was born on May 1, 1924 in Seligman, Missouri to the late, Fred and Eliza (Gann) Reddick. Helen married the love of her life, Loren Slinkard on July 27, 1940 in Neosho, Missouri and to this union three children were born. She worked alongside her husband, Loren in the Auction business for 43 years. Helen was of the Apostolic Faith and one of God’s great prayer warriors.






 

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren Slinkard and a son, Earl Dean Slinkard.

She is survived by her children, Eugene (Chubby) Slinkard and wife, Debra of Jane, Missouri, Faye Coffee of Wheaton, Missouri; a very dear friend, Annie Hoyle of Jane, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jason Slinkard, Rusty Slinkard, Kim Coffee and Bryan Slinkard; six great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Helen.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jane, Missouri. Pastor Tom Sumner, Pastor Jerry Deathridge and Chaplain Craig Price will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Jane Cemetery in Jane, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
