(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Lena Jane Obert, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in her home at the age of 71.
She was born on April 26, 1950 in Lawrence County, MO to Johnnie Ross and Charlene (Lester) Casey. Jane graduated from Miller High School and attended Cosmetology School.
She was united in marriage to Paul M. Obert on March 3, 1973 at Gray’s Point Church.
Jane worked as a seamstress for the Lockwood Cap Factory. She attended the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, where she and Paul were baptized. Jane adored her grandchildren and great-children, and enjoyed spending time with them.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Johnnie and Charlene Casey; and two sisters, Fay Fox and Kay Gastel.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Obert of the home; her son, Keith Paul Obert and his wife Lorie; three brothers, Charles Lee Casey and his wife Elaine, John Wayne Casey and his wife Crystal, and Johnny Ross Casey; one sister, Joyce Williams and her husband Bruce; four grandchildren, Aaron Obert and his wife Taylor, Courtney Downs and her husband Josh, Zachary Obert, and Hannah Smith and her husband Alex; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel
