Stewart Rouse

Mr. Charles Stewart Rouse, 56, a lifelong resident of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Stewart entered this life on September 19, 1965, in Joplin, Missouri, born to the union of Charles and Mardell (Thomas) Rouse and was a 1983 graduate of Central Christian Academy. 










Stewart was extremely talented in many areas especially in the field of auto mechanics. For over twenty years, he owned and operated Wall Street Automotive in Joplin. Stewart also worked with multiple agencies as a behavioral analysis and was currently studying statement analysis. He was known by some as the “thought director”. Stewart has held the AMA National Land Speed Record for his dirt bike since 2008. Stewart enjoyed learning, loved all types of automobiles and researching things on YouTube.

Stewart is survived by his wife, Beverly (Brothers) Rouse of the home; four children, Holly Rouse and husband, Daniel Lugo, of Joplin, Ashley Sass and husband, Shawn, of Easton, Kansas, Nick James and wife, Betsy, of Carl Junction and Kristy Johnson and husband, Alex, of Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; his parents, Charles and Mardell Rouse of Joplin; two siblings, Preston Rouse and wife, Sherry, of Joplin and Tara Schneider and husband, Brad, also of Joplin; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Doug Wilkerson officiating, assisted by Gary Shaw and Hank Deslatte. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Nick James, Seth Rouse, Caleb Rouse, Dennis Brisco, Bob Higginbotham and Dave Myers. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
