(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Larry Mayo Mitchell, 77, of Monett was called to his Heavenly home on Saturday October 23, 2021. He was born in Rood House, Illinois on February 21, 1944; the son of the late Richard Francis and Pearl Elizabeth (Degarmo) Mitchell. He was united in marriage on December 3, 1970 to Jean Claire Duke; she preceded him in death on April 15, 2007.
He was retired from Justin Boots in Cassville, Missouri and was of Baptist Faith.
Larry is survived by two sons: Mike Mitchell and his wife Myra of Reeds, Missouri and David Mitchell of Daytona Beach, Florida; one brother: Jesse Williams of Quincy, Illinois; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services are being held on Thursday October 28, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
