Larma Garner

Larma J. Garner. 82, Carthage, died at 10:45 AM Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Mercy Hosptal in Joplin, Missouri. Mrs. Garner was born Larma J. Triplett on June 8, 1939 in Reeds, Missouri to Frank Triplett and Fannie Bernice “Dankle” Triplett. She lived in the Carthage area all her life.

She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Buddy G. Garner, of Carthage, on April 7, 1957; he survives.








She lived for her family and loved them above all else. Larma has three children, Barry Garner, Curtis Garner, and Trina Garner, all of Carthage; they survive. She has three grandchildren, Jessica Robertson, survives; Gabriel Garner; preceded her in death; and Oscar Bunn; survives. She has two great-grandsons, Hayes Robertson and Hardin Robertson. Larma has two daughter-in-laws, Annette Garner and Gini Garner.

Larma was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bernice Triplett and siblings, Mary Conn, Eula Sill, and Frank D. Triplett and their spouses.
She enjoyed times spent with family and friends. Larma enjoyed spending time at Beaver Lake as often as she could. She loved animals and took in many that became members of our family. She supported the Humane Society and believed every animal deserved a home.

She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was amazing, funny, and loved and will be missed beyond words.

An open visitation is scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage. There will be a Remembrance Book for signing.

Due to the risk of covid some family may not be in attendance.
