Becky Hogan

Rebecca (Becky) Ann Hogan, 35 gained her angel wings on October 13, 2021 after a short illness.

Rebecca was born on July 19, 1986 to Vicki Arner (Vandergrift) and Charles Reynolds. She was welcomed by her older sister Rachel. Rebecca graduation from Sarcoxie High School in 2004, and went on to receive her Registered Nurse license in 2010.

Rebecca was united in marriage to Bud Hogan Jr. on May 11, 2005. On September 18th 2008 Becky greatest accomplishment come into this world, her son Lucas aka ‘the brat”. Lucas was Becky’s pride and joy, as he is to many others.








Becky began her nursing career at the Sarcoxie Nursing Home in Sarcoxie, MO in March of 2002. Becky and her mother always loved working with the elderly patients. In March of 2015 she advanced her career when she went to Access Family Care in Joplin, MO as a Director of the Health Home Initiative. She played many roles at Access including helping manage the Joplin location, but her greatest accomplishments were helping start the Covid team, and helping head up the Behavior Health Medication Administration.

Becky loved being a nurse and loved following in the footsteps of her Mother and Grandmother. She was a very caring person who would go above and beyond for her patients and her team. Becky would always brag about her one and only ACCESS team.

Becky had many great loves, next to Lucas. Two of her tops would have been the Dallas Cowboys and being on the lake. A Dallas Cowboys fan since childhood she has always had a dream of attending a Cowboys game in Dallas at the AT&T Stadium. Becky loved the water, and loved being on the boat at the lake. It was her element and she soaked it up along with the sun. Another love she had was watching Lucas play baseball. She bragged on him all the time. Some of her other loves were reading, traveling with her coworkers to New York, Florida, and other exciting places, animals, and Baby Yoda.

Becky is remembered by her husband Bud Hogan Jr. and her son Lucas Hogan. Her father Charles Reynolds of Rescue, MO, her sister Rachel Blankenship and husband Chris of Sarcoxie, MO, and her brother Charles Reynolds Jr. of Miller, MO. Niece, Kailey Riley; Nephew Cody Riley, and Grandmother, Delores Vandergrift, Miami OK; Mother-in-law, Debbie Hogan of Wentworth MO; Father-in-law, Bud Hogan Sr of Pierce City MO; Sister-in-law, Michelle Miller and husband Rob of Pierce City MO; Brother-in-law, Robert Hogan of Pierce City MO; Sister-in-law Shania Cruz and husband Jordan of San Clemente CA. Numerous Aunts and Uncles with honorable mentions of Mary Beauchamp (Mike), Susan Thorn (Morgan) , Missy Pietz (Ryan), and Andy Vandergrift (Becky), and countless cousins. She is proceeded in death by her Mother Vicki Arner, her other Dad Danny Arner, her “PaPa” Charley Vandergrift, Grandparents Frank and Olive Reynolds, Rescue MO and Cousin Coleton Wealot.

Memorial services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Alba Christian Church, Alba, Missouri.
