Andy Wilson

Andrew Jackson ‘Andy’ Wilson was born August 15, 1930, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, one of six children to Virgil and Ethel (Anderson) Wilson. He entered into rest on Oct. 26, 2021, at the age of 91. 

Andy began his working career with the railroad and then began working as a fire fighter, where he retired as Captain of the Bartlesville, Oklahoma fire department in 1974. He relocated to Neosho, Missouri in 1989 from Cotton Valley, Oklahoma. 








Andy's biggest hobby was working, whether it be at his professional job or at home, he was always working. He loved being in church and was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Neosho. 

Andy and Juanita Sue ‘Nita’ (Robinson) were married on June 17, 1949, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on Jan. 2, 2020. 

Andy is survived by three children, Andy Leroy Wilson and wife, Joycelind of Neosho, Donna Gail Pierce and husband, Tom of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Sandra Ray Bressie and husband, Keith of Joplin, Missouri; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. 

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marna Bressie, great granddaughter, Clarissa Beemer, two brothers and three sisters. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Jim Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Jackson Henderson, Brysun Artherton, Gavin Pierce, Tristan Lowe, Talan Lowe, and Timothy Conner. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Monday evening, November 1st, from 5:30 to 7 pm.
