Freddie Williams

Mr. Freddie Lee Williams, 86, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family.

Freddie was born on March 13, 1935 in Carthage, Missouri to the union of the late Paul Fredrick and Katherine Pearl (Wilbur) Williams.

He was a graduate of Carthage High School and attended college for one year. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. 








For many years he worked as a lineman for Empire District. He was also engaged as a full time farmer and rancher. Freddie was a well-known Auctioneer. He was awarded the Champion Livestock Auctioneer award, presented by the Montana Auctioneers in 1976. Freddie was also an honorary member of the Ash Grove Farmer’s degree. He was baptized in the Christian Church at Ash Grove, Missouri and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ash Grove and Stotts City Saddle Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his horses, trail rides as well as training horses. Freddie was a hard worker and very devoted to his family. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his first children, Betty Jean; granddaughter, Cristen Shupe Munoz; two great-grandchildren, Destiny Norris and Dakota Beall; siblings, Wesley Williams, Sue Cook, Richard Williams and Jim Williams.

Freddie is survived by his children, Richard Williams and wife, Traci, of Ash Grove, Missouri, Katherine Allen, Ash Grove, Sherie Bradshaw and husband, Dale, of Ash Grove, Susan Bobo, of Fort Worth, Texas, Brenda Kay Kirkpatrick, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Cindy Kyle and husband, Walton, Sr., of Las Cruces, Danny Williams and wife, Stacy, of Ash Grove, Julie Johnson and husband, Kenny, of Douglas, Wyoming and Matt Williams and wife, Jessie, of Sarcoxie, Missouri; and the mother of Julie and Matt, Linda Williams, also of Sarcoxie; twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie Williams and wife, Nancy, of Granby, Missouri and Twyla Harper and husband, Tom, of Carthage, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Freddie are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Chrisman officiating. Interment will follow in Sarcoxie Cemetery with full military honors. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Levi Kirkpatrick, David Vert, Chad Bailey, Christopher Bobo, Walton Kyle, Jr., Justin Williams, Jay Williams and Dustin Williams; honorary pallbearers are Cody Shupe and Cash Williams.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Sarcoxie FFA chapter in care of the funeral home.
