(From Simpson Funeral Home)Cara Lee Fletcher, 59, of Carl Junction, MO, passed away on October 5, 2021.
She was born in Carthage, MO on March 9, 1962 to Marty and Linda Williams. Cara was a member of the CJHS graduating Class of 1980 and was a proud Bulldog!
She worked in banking for over 30 years and served as a branch manager for US Bank. Cara loved her family very much. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, playing with her grandchildren, and loving on her fur baby, Chewy. She also enjoyed hosting holidays for her family, working in her yard, and going on girls’ trips with her friend group, the 80’s ladies.
Cara was a devoted mother and grandmother and was a loving friend to everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughter Courtney Derryberry and husband Jonathon, daughter Cassie Jurek and husband Alex, and three beautiful grandchildren, Miles, Eleanor, and Griffin. She is also survived by her older brother Marty Wayne Williams and nephew Derek Williams.
Cara was preceded in death by her parents, Marty and Linda Williams.
The family will have a celebration of life service at the Carl Junction Cemetery Pavilion on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Flowers may be delivered to Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
