(From Ozark Funeral Home)Alice Irene Crowder, 80, of Lanagan, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, in Seneca, Missouri.
She entered this life on Monday, June 16, 1941, in Neosho, Missouri, born to the late James and Wylene (Sellers) Chaffin. Alice was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Anderson, Missouri.
She married Darrell Cook in 1959 and to this union, two children were born.
She later married Lloyd Crowder in April of 1979. She was a life-long McDonald County resident. Alice worked for Talbot Wire for many years before retiring. In her spare time, she loved to be outside. Alice loved nature. You would often find her sitting in her yard, whittling away. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, who she loved with all her heart.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, James and Wylene Chaffin; her husband, Lloyd Crowder; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Darrel Cook Jr. and wife, Donna; one daughter, Peggy Thompson and husband, Terry; one stepdaughter, Rachel Kalista and husband, Robert, and boys; three grandchildren, Gerald Cook and wife, Kasi, Jeffery Cook and girlfriend, Beth Summerlin, and Malena Thompson; Five great grandchildren, Allie Cook, Kinsley Cook, Joe Cummings, Takoda Cummings, and Jaxton Burton; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Alice.
