Barbara Moore

Barbara Moore, Springfield, MO daughter of Ivan Lee and Beulah (Campbell) Chase, was born on August 26, 1937 in Walnut Shade, MO and departed this life on April 4, 2022, at the age of 84.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of the area who had attended the Elsey Baptist Church, Elsey, MO. She also worked as a nurse and later at the garment factory. Barbara was a sweet lady and will be greatly missed.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Moore; son, James Moore; daughter, Ruth Maxwell; brothers, Vernon Chase, Ralph Chase, her twin brother, Carl Chase and Ivan Chase and a sister, Edith Chase.

Survivors include: four sons, Thomas Moore and his wife, Deborah of Aurora, MO, David Moore and his wife, Betty of Larned, KS, Larry Moore and his wife, Victoria of Branson, MO and George Moore and his wife, Rhonda of Joplin, MO; daughter, Teressa Moore-Dollarhide and her husband, Leonard of Springfield, MO; two brothers, Jesse Chase of Galena, MO and Fred Chase of Scott City, MO; three sisters, Kay Delker of Wichita, KS, Vera Moore of Pratt, KS and Ester Schnake of Scott City, MO; thirty eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.







Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Nolan Cemetery, Galena, MO with Rex Mooneyham officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
