Josh Hanke

Mr. Joshua Adolph Hanke, 46 of Cleveland, OK departed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Clevland, Oklahoma.

Joshua was born on November 22,1975 in Salt Lake City, UT. The family moved to Anderson in 1976 and Josh graduated from McDonald County High School in 1995. He then moved to Tulsa and received an associate degree in non-destructive testing from The Sparton College of Aeronautics. 







On April 7, 2007 he was united in marriage to Lindsey Dawn Barlow in Anderson, MO. Josh enjoyed traveling to tropical islands with his wife, scuba diving and preparing meals for his family.


Joshua was preceded in death by a sister; Brenda Lee Hanke, a brother; Micheal James Hanke and a nephew; Jacob Lyn Hanke.

Joshua is survived by his wife Lindsey Dawn of the home, a son Joshua Bowers and wife Katelyn of Neosho, MO, a granddaughter; Athena, his parents Harold Joe and Patricia (Cartwright) Hanke of Anderson, MO, two brothers; William James Hanke and wife Gayle of Anderson, and Jared Garth Hanke of Warwick, Rhode Island, three sisters; Suzanne Marie Pruitt of Neosho, MO, Kimberly Ann Ferguson and husband Randy of Aubrey, TX, and Melissa Marie Grigsby and husband Timothy of Anderson, Sophie; his beloved English Bulldog; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends that will dearly miss Josh.

Funeral services for Mr. Joshua Adolph Hanke will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, MO with Pastor Cecil Hall officing. Burial will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, MO. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are; Jeff Disher, Bill Hanke, Jared Hanke, Brian Grigsby, Greg Beckner, Tyler Pruitt, Tanner Pruitt, Alex Ferguson, and Jamie Hanke.
