(From Clark Funeral Home)Madison Marie Cholka was born on August 9, 2004, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She entered into rest on March 29, 2022, at the age of 17.
Madi was a junior at Neosho High School. If you asked, she would say her favorite subject was Math, but she enjoyed visiting with her counselor and the school nurse the most.
Madi was a creative, talented artist. She loved to draw and paint, and she frequently created masterpieces as gifts for her friends & family.
Madi was always listening to music and learning new dances from Tik Tok. She thought of her cousins more like siblings and spent time with them any chance she got.
Madi loved sunflowers. She could be seen wearing her favorite sunflower cardigan almost daily. Madi had a huge heart and always reached out to others. She had the most joyful smile and could fill a room with laughter. With her fun-loving, adventurous personality, there was never a dull moment.
As a child, Madi played soccer and danced at Solomon’s Dance Studio. Through Solomon’s, Madi made long lasting friendships that carried through to present day. She considered Racine Christian Church her second home and her youth group became her second family. Madi often served in the children’s church on Sundays. She loved Jesus fiercely and was happy to help out wherever she was needed.
Madi is survived by her parents, Angel and Ryan Cholka; maternal grandparents, Frances Malone and Michael Cadenhead; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Patricia Cholka; maternal aunts, Brandy Peralta, Erica Malone, Becca Frazier, Lizzy Morris; maternal uncle Jeremy Willis; paternal uncle, Seth Wilder and wife Janel; along with many bonus aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by many great grandparents.
Services for Madi will be on Saturday, April 2nd at Racine Christian Church beginning at 10:00 am. We invite you to wear sunflowers to spread light and honor Madi’s memory.
