Dorothy "Fran" Houck, age 76, of Pierce City, MO died on Wednesday, August 03, 2016, at her home near Pierce City, MO. Mrs. Houck was born in Rector, AR on Saturday, September 09, 1939. She was the daughter of Roy and Rachel (Tiner) Chasteen. She married Linn Houck on Sunday, November 26, 1972, in Pierce City, MO and he survives. Mrs. Houck was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Also surviving are the following: her daughter, Julie Chrisco of Neosho, MO; two sisters, Lucille Hover of Tahlequah, OK and Pauline Sweeney of Cassville, MO; one brother, Claude Chasteen of Humansville, MO; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Friday, August 05, 2016, from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Saturday, August 06, 2016, beginning at 9:30 AM with Rev. Hubert Conway officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery North of Pierce City, MO.
