Wyatt Blaze Balcom, age 2, of Oronogo, Mo., passed away on August 2, 2016, at his home following an accident.
Wyatt was born on October 10, 2013 in Joplin, Mo., the son of William “Bill” Balcom and April Huffman. Wyatt was a happy full of energy two-year old who loved watching cartoons, and playing with his toys and outdoors with his brothers and sisters. He loved his daddy’s truck.
Wyatt is survived by his father, Bill Balcom, Joplin; his mother, April Huffman, Oronogo, Mo.; three sisters, Abi Huffman, Emily Huffman, and Courtney Balcom; one brother, Josiah Balcom; his paternal grandmother, Sue Balcom, Webb City, Mo.; his maternal grandparents, Della and Richard Koeshall and grandson Caleb Koeshall, Webb City, Mo.; and Mike Edmonson, Joplin; aunts and uncles, Josh and Mandy Edmonson and daughter Emma, Justin and Bobbi Barnett and children, Austin and Cailyn, and Chad Balcom and children, Tuff, Hailey and Cameron. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Balcom, Sr.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Larry Griffin and Pastor Steve Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
