Alice LaRue Hoover, of Liberal age 82, passed away Sunday, December 18, at the Medical Lodge in Girard, KS.
Alice was born June 29, 1934 to Stanley and Beatrice (Russell) Hoover, in Verdella, MO. She was an only child. She graduated from Liberal High School with the class of “51”.
Alice married Charles Hoover, October 25, 1953. He preceded her in death January 1, 2005. She was a member of the Hannon Free Will Baptist Church. Alice worked for many years for the Liberal Schools as a secretary. She retired in 1997 and was a member of the Missouri Retired Teachers Association. She is Survived by 4 sons; Lyle and wife Loretta, Lynn and wife Jeannie and Craig Hoover of Liberal and Doug and wife Valerie of Jeff city. She was grand mother to 7 grand children and 3 great grand children.
