Anna Marie Simpson, age 36, Joplin, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home after a sudden illness.
Anna was born April 10, 1980 in Baxter Springs, Kansas and had lived in Joplin most of her life.
She worked as a nurse's aide for a short time and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Cleo 'Sue' Simpson, Joplin; a brother, William E. Simpson, Jr., Joplin; sister, Donna Lee Paul, Branson; aunts, Janice Weaver and Cindy Stipp, both of Joplin; her life partner, Shasta Booyer, Joplin and her fur babies, Scrappy and Ellie Mae.
Anna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bud and Jeannie Stipp.
A celebration of Anna's life is planned for Saturday from 1-3:00 p.m. at the home of her mother, 110 CJ Lane, Joplin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
