David Michael Morton age 72 of Webb City passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
He was born on August 4, 1944 in Fort Polk, Louisiana to Ira Ray Morton and Gladys (Becknell) Morton. David owned and operated Morton Company Realtors for many years, and was a member of the United States National Guard, he was a Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his son, Christian Morton and wife Jamie of Grand Lake, Oklahoma; daughter, Candice Humphrey and husband Kevin of Oronogo; brother, Sam Morton and significant other Bonnie Logan of Joplin; sister, Sheila Capps and husband Gary of Alba; grandchildren, Marisa Bolin, Blake Cole, Skylan Bolin, Tanner Cole, Zebediah Humphrey, Shianne Cook; and great grandchildren, Skyla Cole, Wyatt Moorhead, and Saige Moorhead. David was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Morton.
