Lane Killion, 15, of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at his residence after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Lane entered this life on February 25, 2001, in Gravette, Arkansas, born to the union of Bobby and Stephanie (Killion) Jacks. He was a lifelong area resident and a 10th grader at Gravette High School where he played football and ran track. Football was his passion and proudly wore Lions Jersey #81. He played for several years beginning in childhood with the Pee Wee program. He had dreams of being drafted by the Oakland Raiders but considered joining the United States Air Force a good plan B. He was an avid outdoorsman where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. He enjoyed driving and was looking forward to his 16th birthday. Lane had an outgoing and charming personality and was a self-proclaimed “Ladies Man”. He loved his family, fellow teammates and his numerous friends.
His paternal grandmother, Bonnie Jacks, preceded him in death.
Lane is survived by his parents, Stephanie Jacks and husband, Derek Marvin, of the home and Bobby Jacks of Southwest City, Missouri; two sisters, Phoenix Jacks and Shyanne Marvin; two brothers, Chazz and Chase Jacks; maternal grandparents, Pam and Steve Killion of Noel, Missouri; paternal grandfather, Don Jacks of Grove, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other extended family.
