Delmar Alexander Ezell, 81, Neosho, died December 13, 2016 at his home in Neosho, following an extended illness.
Delmar was born July 23, 1935 in Woodward County, Oklahoma, the son of Lyman and Ina (Davenport) Ezell and was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a truck driver and also taught truck driving at Crowder College for six years and worked at Frontier Leasing as Director of Safety until retirement. He loved to build and fly remote control airplanes.
Delmar married Phyllis Hawk on April 15, 1964 in Miami, Oklahoma and she survives. Additional survivors include three sons, Wayne Ezell, Steve Ezell and Danny Ezell; one sister, Darlene Taylor; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Services will be Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Lawrence Shuey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Belfast Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Steve Ezell, Brad Ezell, Wayne Ezell, Danny Ezell, Justin Spruce and Jonathan Spruce. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
