Marvin J. Luelf, 88, passed away December 17, 2016 in Carthage, Missouri.
Marvin was born June 9, 1928 in Hawk Point, MO to John Karl Luelf and Ella Christina (Winter) Luelf. Marvin worked for Proctor and Gamble. He was a member of the Fairview Christian Church and Love Jesus, he was passionate about missions, and he was a director of the OMS One Mission Society. Marvin moved to Florida and returned to Carthage in 2007.
Martin was a devoted family man. Marvin was united in marriage for 62 years to Loretta Hughes, she survives. Marvin is survived by two daughters Sharon Eaton of Kansas City, MO and Joyce Liggett of Carthage, MO., four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two sisters Ilene Honesly and Louella Johnson. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, one son Paul Luelf. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
