Kenneth "Lee" Toler, age 67 of Joplin, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 8, 2016 following an extended illness.
Lee was born September 4, 1949 in Greenfield, Missouri to the late Keith Toler and Louise Erisman Toler. He graduated from Greenfield High School and then attended trade school to become a Machinist. Lee was a very loving and devoted husband, father and papa. Lee worked for King Press, Atlas Powder Plant, and then retired from TAMKO. He was active in his church of over 40 years, Wildwood Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and loved to eat breakfast with the men of the church. Lee loved carpentry but most of all, he loved spending quality time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sporting events.
On June 13, 1970, Lee married Linda Taylor in Lockwood, Missouri. Lee faithfully and tirelessly took great care of Linda up to her passing in September of 2009. Additionally, a brother, Tom Toler and a brother in-law, Russ Taylor preceded Lee in death.
Survivors include daughters, Alison Russell and husband, Dan of Joplin, Kristen Boucher and husband, Brian of Joplin; grandchildren, Randi Watson and husband, Blake, Tyler Russell, Zoey Russell and Corbin Boucher; sister, Charlene Toler of Greenfield; brother, David Toler and wife, Shana of Greenfield; sister in-law, Bonnie Taylor of Greenfield plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are planned for Thursday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Wildwood Baptist Church, Joplin with burial to follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wildwood Baptist Church in care of the mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
