Guy Cunningham

Mr. Guy Howard Cunningham, 75, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at his home, following a sudden illness.

Guy entered this life on September 6, 1941, near Anderson, Missouri, son of the late Thomas and Ada (Stamps) Cunningham. He was a lifelong area resident and a 1959 graduate of Midway High School. He served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963. After his honorable discharge he enlisted in the Missouri National Guard, serving an additional thirty-five years as a technician at Camp Crowder in Neosho, Missouri. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

His parents and one brother, Terry Cunningham preceded him in death.

Guy is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Ann Cunningham of the home; four brothers, Bryan Cunningham and wife, Mary, of Neosho, Missouri, Gordon Cunningham also of Neosho, Rick Usery and wife, Verna, of Lake of the Ozarks and Randy Christian of Carthage, Missouri; four sisters, Dena Pugh and husband, Gary, of Anderson, Beverly Darnell of Greenville, Texas, Linda Geer and husband, Kenneth, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Rayna Parsons of Round Rock, Texas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services for Mr. Cunningham are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at New Life Church in Anderson, Missouri, with Bro. Tom Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
