Juanita Rich

Juanita I. Rich, age 87, of Webb City, Mo., passed away on Wednesday December 28, 2016, at Freeman Hospital, following a brief illness.

Juanita was born on June 17, 1929 in Joplin the daughter of the late Berry and Ida Ellen (Boyce) Ellison. She has been a lifetime area resident. She graduated from Carl Junction High School in1947. She worked for the Joplin Telephone Company and for R.L. Polk retiring in 1990.She was a Baptist. She was a member of the ATA and the VFW. She loved dancing.

Juanita married Walter “Bill” Rich and he preceded her in death on December 7, 1988.She was also preceded in death by a son, William L. Rich on July 7 ,2014; a grandson, John Douglas Rich; and by a great-grandson, William Jonathon Rich.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Rich, Duenweg, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Becky Rich, Joplin; a brother, John Ellison, California; a sister Neomi Revoir, California; four grandchildren, Brandon Rich, James Rich, Christina Rich, and Damin Rich; and three great-grandchildren, Braxton Rich, Alex Rich, and Kili Rich.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Reverend John Veazey will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
