David Michael ‘Mike’ Dooley, 56, of Granby, died December 16, 2016 in a vehicle accident.
He was born September 11, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. Mike was a devoted husband, father and son. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he had served in the Young Men’s organization and the Boy Scouts for many years. He worked at Tyson Foods of Monett for 21 years.
Mike is survived by his mother, Norma Dooley of Washington City, UT; wife, Becky Dooley of Granby; three sons, David Dooley and wife, Shalae of Oklahoma City, OK, William Dooley and wife, Nikki and family of Bois D’Arc, MO and Chris Dooley and wife, Lindsey and family of Granby; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Kathy Peake of UT, Terry Jolley of UT, Wendy Syphus of UT, Lisa Saatzer of CA and Jennifer Morgan of UT; and two brothers, Brian Dooley and Ron Dooley, both of UT. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Albert Barlow ‘Bill’ Dooley. Over many years, Mike took in and raised numerous youth who needed guidance and extra love. Among those is Perry Palmer who is now married to Alicia Anderson.
