Eudora Sedona Courtney, 86, Webb City, died December 15, 2016 at National Healthcare in Joplin following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 10, 1930 in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
Eudora married Creighton Courtney and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1992. She is survived by four grandchildren, Freddie Tilton of Joplin, Rebecca Matthews of Neosho, Mary Faucett and husband, Jarod of Carl Junction and Christopher Courtney of Neosho; six great grandchildren, Ashton Tilton, Kelsie Matthews, Payton Matthews, Jaydon Faucett, Lorelai Faucett and Brendon Ferguson and two great great grandchildren, Tru and Blakelynn. In addition to her husband, Eudora is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosalie Tilton and son, Billy Ray Courtney.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Granby Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Walker officiating. Friends may call at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
