(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Wayne C. Sigmon, 83, of Carthage, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri. Wayne was born in Frannie, Wyoming to Cecil W. Sigmon and Gertrude (Dillon) Sigmon on September 19, 1938. Wayne served his country in the United States Navy for four years and the Marine Corp Reserve for about two years. He retired from Gates Rubber Company.
Wayne was united in marriage to Barbara Tayler on April 23, 1966 in San Diego, California; she survives.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Barbara Sigmon; one daughter, Lisa Moore of Carthage, Missouri; two brothers, Keith J. Sigmon and wife, Maybel of Kersey, Colorado and Gary Rex Sigmon and wife, Tonya of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren, Nicole McDaniel and Alen McDaniel and wife, Brittany; four great grandchildren, Malea Robertson, Tru Robertson, Havyen Robertson and Adeline McDaniel; and on great-great grandchild, Beverleigh McDaniel.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil W. and Gertrude Sigmon; two brothers, Gene Edward Sigmon and Allen Leroy Sigmon; and one son-in-law, Tim McDaniel.
