Dorothy D. Barchak, age 88, of Pierce City, MO, formerly of Wentworth, MO, died on Friday, April 13, 2018, at her home in Pierce City, MO. Mrs. Barchak was born in Joplin, MO on Saturday, October 26, 1929. She was the daughter of Lewis and Mary (Agus) Hughes. Mrs. Barchak was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1997. Mrs. Barchak was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO.
Surviving are the following: her two daughters, Christy Blackburn of Wentworth, MO and Jan Blinzler of Webb City, MO; three sons, Frank Barchak, Jr. of Crane, MO, Joe Barchak of Clearwater, FL and Jim Barchak of Monett, MO; sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Rosary Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Pierce City, MO on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 6:00 PM. after which time the family will receive friends until 8:00 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 beginning at 10:30 AM with Father Paul McLoughlin officiating. Burial will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Pulaskifield, MO.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church.
