Helen J. Reynolds, 65, Sarcoxie, MO, passed away Wednesday morning, April 25, 2018 at her home after a lengthy illness. Helen Janice Greening was born May 19, 1952 in Hannibal, MO; a daughter of the late Glenn Roy Cornelius Greening and Helen Bodine Greening. Helen was a graduate of Ladonia High School, Ladonia, MO and attended Cosmetology School in Mexico, MO. She married William Reynolds on November 12, 1987 in Miami, OK; he survives. Helen was the owner/operator of the Hungry House Restaurant, Sarcoxie, MO.
Additional survivors include three daughters; Stacy (Jason) Long, Gilman City, MO, Stephanie Simmons, Sarcoxie, MO and Susan Reynolds, Sarcoxie; three sons, Robert A. (Courtney) Simmons, Cameron, MO, Douglas L. Simmons, Kansas City, MO and William H. (Amy) Reynolds, Leawood, MO; two brothers, Greg (Stacey) Greening, Lee Summit, MO and Patrick (Danielle), State of North Carolina; three sisters, Geraldine Greening, Gallatin, MO, Mary Beth (Larry) Kirtlink, Center, MO and Leah (Kurt) Kruse, Newton, IA; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leah Reynolds (2/11/2012), two brothers, Steven and Glenn Roy Greening and one sister, Jeannie Fields.
Graveside services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Greenleaf Cemetery, Tahlequah, OK. Minster Troy Walker will officiate. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in care of Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut, Carthage, MO. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
