Dale (Pee Wee) L. Lansdown, age 75, of Cassville passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his home.
He was born January 3, 1943 in Butterfield the son of Burl and Neeley (Spain) Lansdown. Survivors include nine children and two step-sons, Brenda Shea and her husband Jeff of Vacaville, California, Dale Jr. and his wife Carol of Cassville, Sonya Hayward of Branson West, Jackie Moore of Springfield, Lorie Speakman of Cassville, Brandy Hobson and her husband Mike of Joplin, Tish Green and her husband Mike of Newton, Kansas, Casey Himmelsbach and her husband Reece of Neosho, Jana Dale Babst and her husband Robert of Navarre, Florida, Jeff Reed and his wife Liz of Cassville, and Doug Reed and his wife Gracy of Granby. Twenty-seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way.
Also surviving are one brother, William Lansdown of Seneca, Gladys Hargis and her husband James of Exeter, Carleen (Toots) Wierman and her husband Lavern of Raymore and Cindy Hudson and her husband Roie of Cassville.
He is also survived by one aunt, Virginia Blythe of Cassville and his forever dog companion Buckwheat.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Dale received his education in Butterfield and attended high school at Cassville. He joined the United States Army in October 1960 and was stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California. Dale was a life-long resident of Barry County. He operated Derby Gas Station, Pee Wee’s Salvage Yard and also painted city water towers for many years.
Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Ken West will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until service time Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association in memory of Dale.
